DTI is the project manager and will together with DTU – Technical University of Denmark – carry out the research tasks of the project. DTI has a long tradition of leading research and development projects and has achieved extensive experience in the field of bringing companies in various sectors together in solving interdisciplinary projects like this.
DTI aims at creating value for the Danish society and industry and considers sustainable heating and refrigeration as key components of a renewable-based energy system and heat pumps as an important part in the future energy system without fossil fuels.
The strategic focus of DTI is to develop and demonstrate the use of sustainable energy technologies in new applications and temperature areas such as district heating and process industry. Development and demonstration are done through close cooperation with leading technology providers, mainly from Denmark, which will ensure consolidation of the technology in future commercial projects and products.
